AIMS men's hostel and women's hostel are existing in separate
localities of the AIMS campus.
AIMS
Men's Hostel
UG's
are accommodated in the two separate "A" and
"B" Blocks. 'A' Block consisting of 87 rooms
and 'B' Block consisting of 103 rooms in multistoried
floors. They are accommodating 250 students. Each room
is well furnished. Each floor of the hostel contains toilets
and bathrooms. There is a separate kitchen and spacious
dining halls attached with modern facilities are available
to the inmates. The water supply is maintained throughout
24 hours and hot-water is supplied for bathing purposes.
Electric generators are pressed into service in the event
of electricity failure. The warden, assistant warden and
the staff will manage the hostel under the supervision
of the principal.

AIMS
Ladies Hostel
UG:
It consists of a vast spacious building with 112 rooms
accommodating about 240 students. Warden, Assistant warden
and other managerial staff will look after the maintenance
of the hostel. The hostel is endowed with library facilities,
indoor games like Table Tennis and shuttle cock. It is
also provided with diesel generator in the event of electricity
failure as a backup facility.
P.G:
There are 84 rooms providing accommodation to Post-graduate
Women Students.
Code
of Conduct:
The
inmates are governed by "code of conduct" laid
down by the advisory committee with works under the Principal
guidance. All stringent preventive measures are being
taken in accordance with the guidelines of RGUHS and Govt.
of Karnataka to prevent the ragging in the premises.

Accommodation
of staff members:
Both
teaching and non teaching staff members are given accommodation
in the staff quarters of the AIMS campus which are well
furnished and ventilated. Convert and school are existing
to meet the educational needs of the children of the staff
members. Bachelorsf quarters are also available for interns
present in the Adichunchanagiri Complex. Working women's
hostel is also existing to cater to the needs of the individuals,
which is located in the women hostel complex.
Sport
Selection:
The
sports section is present with the physical director and
the sports secretary as the head of the section. The department
encourages the sports activities among the students. It
also provides the opportunity for the sport persons to
participate in the inter collegiate competitions, State
and National level competitions Indoor games like table
tennis and shuttle cock and outdoor games like football,
tennis, cricket, basket ball and athletic events are also
played.
The
students have won championship and trophies in various
inter-collegeate sports competitions.

Transport System:
The
college possesses omni buses for commuting students from
the hostels to the hospital and the other peripheral rural
health centers for the purposes of teaching and training
programmes. The vans are present 4 in number for the staff
and the students for providing community health care.
There are two ambulances attached to AH & RC, which
are well organized throughout 24 hours, and each one of
them is equipped with cardiopulmonary resuscitators with
trained and qualified medical and paramedical staff, Emergency
drugs, oxygen cylinder. Being a referral hospital the
ambulance service are made use of to bring the patients
from the neighboring hospitals and districts. Educational
tours are conducted periodically by suing the college
omnibus services.
Co-operative
Society:
It
is established to meet the requirements of the students
like books, stationers, practical records, dissection
instruments and other accessories at confessional rates.
It is located in the AIMS campus with secretary heading
the society.
Police
Outpost:
It
has been set up in the campus and is attached to Bellur
Police station and manned by one head constable and two
police constable and two police constables to maintain
law and order in the premises.
STD/ISD
Booths:
They
are present in the hostel and in the 'AC' complex rendering
day and night services.
Cultural
/ Literary Activities:
Students
are encouraged to participate in the Literary activities
like creative writing, impromptu speech, debates
etc. They are motivated to participate in the cultural
events like must, drama, instrumental music and Indian
etc.,
The
students are periodically participating in the inter collegiate
cultural competition held to various centers and have
brought laurels to the institution by winning trophies
and prizes in various events. The college also arranges
annul cultural meet in the campus. National festivals
like Independence day, Republic day, Mahathama
Department
of Continued Medical Education (CME)
The
department of CME is started in accordance with the guidelines
of MCI. The department is headed by the Principal, the
co-ordinator and the HOD's of various departments form
the committee of conducting CME programmes. The objective
of the departments is to keep the knowledge of the faculty
members and the students updated.
Separate
CME hall with facilities for audiovisual presentations
and discussions have been created in the hospital complex.
Regular
academic calendar of event are framed to conduct CME programmes
periodically. The students and the faculty members are
also encouraged to participate in the CME program in other
institutions inside of outside the state. The faculty
members are also sent for higher laboratory and clinical
training available in other institutions
